Understanding children's rights and the rights based approach.
The children's rights approach is based on an understanding of and commitment to ending discrimination against all children and to supporting and holding to account those bearing duties (such as, parents/carers, particular services, agencies or bodies) to meet their obligations for implementing children's and human rights principles. Developing your understanding of children's rights is critical to implementing children's rights.
