Delivering children's rights

This stage involves specific actions to meet the requirements of fulfilling children's rights and the UNCRC. Delivery can be thought of as a three-pillar approach:

1. Taking direct actions on violations of rights and gaps in provision.

2. Strengthening the capacity of duty bearers to meet their obligations e.g. through structures and mechanisms; laws, policies and practice.

3. Strengthening the understanding and capacity of children, their carers and civil society to claim rights and hold duty bearers to account.

Exactly what your organization or service would do in relation to these three pillars depends on what duties you and your organisation bear.
